Affiliate Spotlight - Sciencenter Summer Camps

The Sciencenter, a NYSG affiliate in Ithaca, NY, offered space-themed summer camps this past summer. The Young Scientist campers in grades 2-6 had the opportunity to explore space through a variety of activities including seltzer rockets, helicopters, and rainbow glasses. The Itty Bitty campers in grades K-1 got to explore a lunar landscape, draw constellations and even create their own craters .The campers learned about outer space through engaging, hands-on activities that helped them discover what it takes to put humans in space.
