Claire Zwack of Clarkson University worked at Moog.

At Moog, I supported and sometimes lead on-going research which contributed to the production of 3D-printed metal parts via Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). Since LPBF is an extremely variable-sensitive process, it is important the Moog tries to control as many of these variables as possible to create well-made parts. In one case, our team was able to recall a certain optics problem with one of the laser heads in a machine by analyzing many of these variables at once.
