Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has enabled scientists and engineers to effectively model fluid flow for aerodynamic studies. Previous studies have shown that flow quality in the U.S. Army 7- by 10-ft Wind Tunnel test section had unsteadiness due to stall regions and separated flow at the fan drive. Ultimately, this work aims to confirm the cause of the flow separation and recommend a solution through CFD models.
